1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using vialfile.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

vialfile provides a browser-based toolkit for peptide therapy self-management, including:

A reconstitution calculator (vial mg + BAC water → syringe units)
An injection site log with rotation tracking
A side-effect severity and symptom tracker
Bloodwork cadence reminders (protocol-derived, not medical prescriptions)
An inventory and vial burn-rate estimator
A stack builder and weekly digest

All data is stored locally in your browser. The Service does not create or maintain a user account, cloud storage, or server-side health record on your behalf in its current free/waitlist form.

3. NOT medical advice — critical disclaimer

vialfile is a mathematical and organizational tool. It is not a medical device, and it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations.

Specifically:

Reconstitution calculations are mathematical outputs based on user-entered values. They are not verified by a pharmacist or clinician.
Dosing ranges shown from the peptide library are drawn from publicly available research and community protocols. They are not prescriptions and may not be appropriate for your individual physiology, health status, or specific product formulation.
Bloodwork cadence reminders are based on common protocols, not on your personal lab values or physician's orders.
Side-effect patterns identified by the tool are observational only — they do not constitute a diagnosis or causal finding.

Always verify dosing calculations with a qualified compounding pharmacist or prescribing clinician before administering any substance. Peptide therapy involves real risk of harm from incorrect dosing, contaminated products, or adverse reactions. vialfile does not reduce or mitigate that risk — it helps you organize information. The responsibility for safe administration remains entirely with you and your healthcare provider.

4. Permitted use

You may use the Service for personal, lawful tracking and calculation purposes. You agree not to:

Use the Service in any jurisdiction where the possession or use of the substances being tracked is illegal
Reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the Service software for commercial purposes without written permission
Scrape, crawl, or abuse the Service in ways that disrupt its availability to other users
Use the Service to provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment to others

5. Accuracy of calculations

While we work to ensure mathematical correctness, vialfile provides calculations "as is". You are responsible for verifying all calculations independently before acting on them. The reconstitution calculator assumes the user understands the units involved (mg, mcg, mL, IU) and has verified their specific product's concentration. We recommend cross-checking against a second source.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

7. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, vialfile AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO PERSONAL INJURY, ADVERSE DRUG REACTIONS, CALCULATION ERRORS RESULTING IN HARM, LOSS OF DATA, OR LOSS OF REVENUE — ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IF YOU ARE DISSATISFIED WITH ANY PORTION OF THE SERVICE, YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY IS TO DISCONTINUE USING THE SERVICE.

8. Data ownership and backup

All tracking data you enter into vialfile is yours. It is stored on your device and we have no access to it. You are responsible for backing up your data using the export function in Settings & Backup. We are not liable for data loss resulting from browser storage clearing, device failure, or any other cause.

9. Regulatory status

vialfile is not registered with or approved by the FDA, EMA, or any other regulatory body as a medical device or software as a medical device (SaMD). It is a consumer productivity tool in the same category as a spreadsheet or calendar application.

Users are solely responsible for compliance with laws in their jurisdiction regarding the peptides and substances they track. Post-2026-02-27 HHS Category-1 reclassification in the US changes the legal landscape for some peptides; this does not constitute legal or medical advice, and the landscape may change again.

10. Intellectual property

The vialfile name, logo, and software are the intellectual property of the Startup Factory program. The peptide library data is compiled from publicly available research and community sources. You may not reproduce or redistribute vialfile's software or brand assets without written permission.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the jurisdiction in which the operator is established. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
